Harry has adored
magic and illusion for
years. There are photos of him performing magic for his relatives at
his sister's communion (however they are way too embarrasing to post).
As with most magicians, Paul Daniels and a childrens magician are
responsible for everything! He received a Paul Daniels magic set as a
birthday present off his godfather the same year as a magician
performed at his party. This was the start of it all...
While his interest in magic may have waxed and wained as other things
entered his life Harry has always gone back to it. For the last two
years in particular Harry has poured everything into magic. This
culminated in his appearance on Glas Vegas, a talent show on TG4 in
March 2008 (the video of which is in the Videos section) and his work
on the theatrical magic show Magick Macabre which ran in the Olympia.
Working with the critically acclaimed magician Joe Daly was a great
learning experience for Harry.
Harry is also very interested in acting and drama. For the last year he
has been very active in du players, the drama society in Trinity
College Dublin, performing in several plays as well as directing his
own. He also appeared in a short film that was shown at a number of
film festivals.
Harry's many other interests include scepticism, films, books, science
and psychology.
Future projects of Harry's include Psychological Assault, his theatre
show, that will run at the end of March (see section) and also a public
escape attempt to raise money for an as yet undisclosed charity, more
details of that will follow in the coming months.
